Its hard to put into words how glad we are to have met Mano Shanmuganathan... we first met in April 2016 when my son was rushed to the Royal Victoria hospital after a CT scan found a brain tumour. He was 2.5 years old and we presumed this tumour would kill our son. After an MRI and meeting with Mano we had such a weight lifted from us as he helped us understand what was going to happen next... he promised us he would help our son and thats exactly what he did. The tumour was found on the Fri and a biopsy happened on the Mon... An all day surgery which saved our childs life! He managed to remove most of the tumour and gave us all hope. Again in April 2018 Mano informed us the tumour had started to grow again and he operated again on Ryan and thankfully removed ALL of the residual tumour. Even now we cant beleive Ryan has a full chance at life again. At 5 years old Ryan knows Mano saved his life and took the naughty thing in his brain away. As a family we will forever be grateful for the work, time and effort he has put into helping our son. He is also the most pleasant and humble man, visiting regualrly in the ward and remembering Ryan personally meant so much to us.
