After suffering with osteoarthritis for a number of years, trying numerous remedies and eventually relying on painkillers to get me through the day, I was finally referred to Mr Lee Longstaff for surgery. I was nervous leading up to my first hip replacement in March 2015 but needn't have been. The treatment I received from Mr Longstaff and his team at Bishop Auckland General Hospital was of the highest quality from start to finish.I made an amazing recovery and expect to be undergoing a second hip replacement in October. My life has been transformed already. I can't imagine having two fully functional hip joints. Am I nervous this time?..absolutely not. I trust Mr Longstaff to do the same fantastic job he did before!
