With no living family to support me, going ahead with a total hip replacement was so daunting. Mr Longstaff from the beginning of consultation to operation gave me confidence to have this done. Suffering badly from arthritis in both hips, the right side was replaced first on 29th May this year, being the worst. I could not have chosen to put my faith in a better surgeon and I can only thank Mr Longstaff for accepting me as his patient. Its now 7 weeks or so since my operation and the right side replacement is absolutely fine, in fact much better than I expected by way of after surgery performance. Pain free and confident in my new hip, I will be hoping for Mr Longstaff to replace my left hip in the not too distant future which will give me back a quality of life that was totally lost to arthritis. He has my complete faith and trust. I would not want anyone else to perform this operation for me and can not thank, or recommend him highly enough.
