After limited movement in my right leg and a very painful hip, Mr. Longstaff suggested that I needed a hip replacement. He listened very carefully to my concerns for the most suitable type of hip. I have always enjoyed a very active lifestyle of riding, walking, swimming, pilates, and I work full time as a foundation stage teacher. Mr Longstaff explained carefully his recommendation for the replacement hip. I had complete confidence in his expertise and professional opinion. He is an excellent surgeon and is supported by a fantastic team at Bishop Auckland Hospital. Every member of staff was conscientious and enthusiastic helping everyone to achieve independence in a supportive, and caring environment. I have had two follow up consultation sessions where Mr. Longstaff, he listened carefully to my questions and answered them fully. I have just completed an 8 mile walk, cycled with my grandchildren on holiday and enjoy swimming with my friends. Tomorrow I am back at school. Life is good! Thank you so much, you have given me my life back! I can highly recommend Mr Longstaff, he is a very skilled surgeon but also a really caring person.
