I was referred to Nuffield hospital in jesmond under the NHS for a hip replacement after suffering with arthritis for three years.I was under the care of Mr Longstaff who was excellent from start to finish.He put me at ease even though I was extremely nervous about the operation.Having my hip operation has given me back a normal life doing things I have not been able to do for a long time because of the pain in my hip.Iam 7weeks post op pain free and walking unaided thanks to Mr Longstaff.
