My wife recently had a macular hole eye operation and from the moment we first met Mr Joshi - he immediately put her at ease with his kind, calm reassuring manner. She'd been waiting several months for a general anesthetic operation , understandably so as the operation can take up to 1.5 hours - but Mr Joshi explained at the outset, the nature of the operation is usually carried out by local anesthetic ' but don't worry - you'll be fine - we'll look after you ' . I looked over to my wife and she agreed on the spot - which illustrates just how much Mr Joshi exudes quiet confidence with his calm professional manner - a true NHS star if I've ever met one. Also, I just happen to be a NHS Volunteer at St Peters Hospital and I'm so proud to be associated with such a fine man. I couldn't recommend him more highly, my wife had the operation just over two weeks ago and is well on the road to a full recovery. Thank you so much Mr Joshi - you are such a nice relaxed man and a true credit to your profession.
