I was admitted to Derby Royal hospital at the end of June, I had to 3 units of blood overnight and was seen by Mr Fareed the following morning who told me I needed an emergency operation to save my bowel, Mr Fareed performed the surgery the same day from which I have now fully recovered. Throughout the whole experience Mr Fareed and his team were very kind and caring and towards both myself and my daughter and made me feel very well informed about the treatment and recovery. Mr Fareed was very professional and is a very talented surgeon and I cannot express my gratitude and thanks to him for saving both my bowel and my life. I can only say that Derby Royal are very lucky to have him Again many thanks for the treatment I received
