I have seen this doctor twice now for my chronic migraines. On my first occasion I saw him to have nerve block injections that he did for me but without effect. We discussed my 20 years of loving with this condition and the things I have found helpful and not helpful. We have also discussed that these migraines come on due to a hormonal imbalance that I have and therefore have to take a number of triptans to survive the month. He told me I was eligible for the Ajovy injection so I was very hopeful to finally have something that may stop them. I phoned recently to explain that I had to have my iud out which has made my hormones go crazy and therefore has made my migraines go crazy and I am now being told that I may be having a medication overuse headaches. It’s absolutely insured that I man with this amount of experience and knowledge could be do flippant with comments like this when I have spent my life battling this and trialling all sorts of drugs, procedures and therapy to abort these debilitating migraines. I am so disappointed with my treatment. I’m pretty sure if I was a private patient, I would have been given this injection by now.
