I underwent a knee arthroscopy for a torn meniscus in September 2018 which was performed by another Orthopaedic Consultant at a private hospital. After 6 months I suffered a serious set-back which caused me enormous anxiety due to restrictions on my mobility. My Surgeon had a busy schedule and could not see me for a review or provide a care plan. Having led a very active life I was once again in pain and distressed with being unable to carry on with normal daily activities. At this point I decided to seek another route and a second opinion. Following recommendations from friends who have been to the Fortius Clinic, I saw Kash Aktar in March. Since coming under his care, my knee has improved immeasurably and I am now able to carry on with my daily activities. Kash has been extremely supportive, helpful and reassuring. He provided me with a current care and maintenance plan to follow as well as a clear understanding of treatment required in the future. He connects well with his patients, gains their confidence and understands the importance of providing good on-going care. I would without hesitation recommend him to others.
