Mr Akhtar is an absolutely brilliant Doctor!! I cannot thank him enough for ending my years long discomfort in my knee. I visited Mr Akhtar with an old Meniscus Tear that happened in 2010 which was starting to become quite painful, (13 year old meniscus tear)! I was experiencing locking and pain in my knee regularly which then became weekly/daily. From the very first consultation with Mr Akhtar I knew that I wouldn’t trust anyone else with fixing my knee, he explained everything he planned to do in a way I could understand and I left the appointment feeling confident in the plan we had discussed. If I knew how painless and easy the whole surgery and recovery process was going to be for me, I would never have waited so long to get my knee sorted!!! I’m 7 weeks post op now and I feel like I never even had surgery! I would highly recommend Mr Akhtar! If I ever have another Knee issue or someone in my family does, I will 100% go back to Mr Akhtar!
