Written by a private patient

I injured my knee in June 2022. After extensive research I opted to visit Kash due to the glowing reviews and his experience at The Fortius. A few years prior I was unfortunate enough to rupture my ACL in my other leg and saw a top consultant, although the procedure went very well I wasn’t satisfied with the level of patient care or facilities. When I first met Kash it was as if he had known me for years, extremely upbeat, friendly and cared about my issue. He took the time to exam the knee thoroughly and performed a range of tests, only then did he look at the MRI to verify his findings. We decided on some bracing and RICE to allow things to settle down before any long-term procedures were explored. After the bracing and RICE period, he explained in detail what had happened to my knee with models, slides and the MRI and discussed the options available to me. Although I had completely ruptured my ACL, had a grade 2 MCL and some meniscus damage, to my complete surprise he actually suggested that I don’t have an operation (surrounding structures were strong and not buckling, giving way or catching and minimal swelling). For somebody whose primary pay comes from performing surgery this was quite surprising, and shows he genuinely cares for his patients. In the end i did elect to undergo surgery as I wanted to continue playing sport at a competitive level. The facilities and staff at Cleveland Clinic were on another level. I was treated like a celebrity. If you want REAL private care, so not hesitate for a moment and visit one of the specialist at Cleveland Clinic. I had regular check ups with Kash throughout the last year or so, and he even got another top tier consultant to step in for a scheduled check up when he was away at a conference. Throughout the journey, Kash was available to answer all my questions and concerns through the brilliant app. I was able to start gentle practise sessions after 3 months and was able to start playing competitive sport in a controlled manner at ~6 months. I was recently fully signed off to resume full activity. Thanks for all your help. Brilliant consultant, even better guy.

I’ll miss our chats about everything and anything!
