Mr Akhtar has been a pleasure to deal with. I visited him approximately 2 years after injuring my knee and following numerous visits to a variety of other professionals, none of whom had solved the issue or inspired confidence (one seemed interested only in surgical interventions and indeed redoing an ACL replacement in my other leg).
Mr Akhtar has been a breath of fresh air. First, he treats me like a sentient adult as opposed to a potential invoice. Secondly, he inspires trust and confidence and third, his recommendations make sense and work.
He took time to understand how the injury had been suffered, my current lifestyle and levels discomfort and after a thorough physical examination and set of X-rays and scans, he gave a clear diagnosis, explained the range of potential treatments and possible adverse consequences of each option and then recommended treatment that not only suited my lifestyle and age but has actually worked.
