I was cared for by Mr Akhtar in relation to debilitating knee pain that was preventing me from exercising. As a result of the excellent care provided my knee is now pain free.
I would highly recommend Mr Akhtar as he was
- thorough in carrying out diagnostic tests and scans to identify what exactly was causing the knee pain
- explained clearly the results of the diagnostic tests, the treatment options, including the risks and benefits
- keen to explore conservative treatment in the first instance rather than going straight to surgery
- thorough in terms of aftercare and follow up
- always calm and approachable
