My grandmother was admitted with an acute surgical emergency. She was quickly seen and her surgical care was exceptionally led by Mr Jamal. He was polite, respectful and kept us informed at all times during a very difficult and worrying time. He ensured her care was individualised and her wishes were respected throughout. The followup and aftercare was excellent, Mr Jamal’s team were kind, caring and always well informed and easily accessible both during her inpatient stay and once discharged.
