Although polite, I found him ‘dismissive’ of me. He would not allow me to ask many questions I wanted answers to. It’s about being with dignity & respect, considering my operation was cancelled, after being anesthetized going into theatre, after waiting 5 hrs. For my op. Since, I have suffered distress, not knowing, ‘what happens next, just advised, he had spoken to endocrinology dept about my cancelled op.(14/02/2023), having to wait for my next appt. to see the Endocrinologist, on 17/May/2023. No ‘plan B.’

De Jamal was very good at explaining to me what was going to happen and how this would affect me, straight to the point and honest. This was something I appreciate as it left little reason for doubt. He also did a good job with the scar, it is there but doesn’t draw attention to itself unless one knows about it.

I had my gallbladder removed by Dr Jamal March 21. He looked after me and explained how operation works and also came to visit in the evening to say how it all we went and further advise.

Well this man looked after me so well. He explained everything in detail and made sure that I understood what was going to happen. He followed up my appointments and made sure that I was being dealt with appropriately If it was not for Karim I would still be on a rollercoaster I have only the most respect for this DR and would always recommend him in his field. It was great to see him before my operation he made me, who was terrified, feel safe and calm. He is a master in his job and I hope he continues to be so

My case was very difficult as I had been misdiagnosed, and by the time Mr Jamal came on the scene I was very unwell. He accurately diagnosed me, explained my situation and the proposed treatment and operated within hours. His after care was second to none, he is the most relaxed and friendly surgeon I have ever met, always available to me for advice at any time and ensured I received excellent care from the point I met him onwards.
