After a beautiful 20 hour labour for a breech baby unfortunately due to an serious issue that around during labour, we had to go through for an emergency c-section. Mr Sampat and his team were incredible. Their professionalism in light of the emergency situation that arose was profound. They kept their composure, as well as their empathy. Every step of the procedure was explained to me in details despite the necessary rush. My consent was requested for every single stage and I felt very well informed of everything that was happening. In these situations it is easy for the birthing mother to become panicked but Mr Sampat and his team of wonderful professionals were reassuring and caring at every stage of the procedure.
I felt very safe and very cared for and I knew my baby's life was in the best care.
Once my daughter was born he and his team explained everything that was happening to my baby whilst I was still being taken care of. This made me feel reassured and connected to my baby before I'd seen her.
I am so grateful and lucky that he and his team were the ones that delivered my child.
I am grateful every day.
