I was seen by Mr Kapoor on Tuesday 23rd May. His welcome was warm and friendly and I immediately I knew I was in safe hands. Not only is he very professional and experienced, but he LISTENS! I have a slight aversion to doctors dating back to my experience aged 3 in 1959 of having my tonsils removed. My parents left me there alone, on the doctor's advice, and I wasn't even allowed to take my teddy! Dr Kapoor sympathised. It is not like that now I'm sure. I was lucky enough to receive a nasendoscopy procedure (!) there and then which Mr Kapoor performed with gentleness and reassurance. He recorded it so I could watch again. I can honestly say that the whole experience was a joy from start to finish, and this was not what I expected. He is a very special doctor indeed, with the added blessing of wit and humour. Indeed his quick response to my likening the hairs up my nose to a forest (we were watching the film) was "They are there to keep the ants out!" I can imagine he is brilliant at reassuring children. He did a very good job reassuring both me and my scared 3 year old from 1959. Bravo Mr Kapoor!!! Mrs Renira Barclay
