I had ureteral balloon dilatation procedure with Mr Attar on 21st April 2017 following endometriosis excision surgery 3.5 months prior to that, as endometriosis strangulated my ureter and created ureteral stricture and I was left with a stent. I was warned that although minimally invasive, such procedure doesn't always work, and in my case the chance of success was deemed low. However, as the only alternative was having major ureteral reimplantation surgery, Mr Attar has agreed to give me a chance and try minimally invasive approach first. I was very nervous, but to my delight, Mr Attar managed to perform successful balloon dilatation of my ureteral stricture, restoring my kidney drainage, and I am now well and stent-free!
