I had a hip replacement under Mr Jacob in May 2023. Prior to the operation, last year I could barely do 2 miles. I joined Nuffield to do exercies. I was getting frustrated with my hip.
After the hip replacement, I can walk properly up and down the stairs and yesterday I walked a mile easily.
I was discharged within 24hours of my operation, although I felt I could have left the same day! Another positive news I was pre-poned in my operation which I am very delighted about.
