For all the bad press the NHS receives, I found this whole experience a lot easier due to Mr Dawson & all of the staff concerned at Northampton general hospital. He has a very caring attentive bedside manor & I always felt he was genuinely concerned for my welfare & that I was never just "another number". All questions were listened to both patiently & attentively & even prior to my op he visited the ward to again reassure me it was all about focusing on the detail & that I would be fine. In what can be a life changing experience I am relieved that I found somebody of Mr Dawson's caliber & wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody with this insidious disease.
