I had a breast reduction due to back pain, poor breathing, major discomfort day to day. Being a 30H (reduced to 30D) and an active person, by breast size was effecting my lifestyle and according to my physiotherapist, only going to get worse. I was very nervous attending my first meeting with Jonathan Adamthwaite, but he was very comforting, instantly putting me at ease. Even during the examination, which I was dreading, I felt more comfortable with him, then previous female doctors. The surgery was explained, pros and potential risks, but Adamthwaite seemed so confident and enthusiastic about the difference the surgery will have on me, that I wasn’t worried at all, I really trusted that he would do the best job. The day went smoothly, one moment I was getting anaesthetic then done. Adamthwaite checked in on me numerous times before and after, very attentive and comforting, which was perfect, considering I thought I would be a bag of nerves. I’m my experience I had very little pain in my recovery. I was very tired the first few days, slept a lot! But then slowly was able to do more each day. Had my bandages changed two weeks later than another two weeks later with Adamthwaite, finally my last follow up 6 months later. The whole journey was the best I could have asked for. I was very nervous about undergoing the surgery, but thanks to Adamthwaite, everything was stress free and amazingly relaxed. I couldn’t recommend Jonathan Adamthwaite enough. First class, couldn’t have asked for anymore. I am back to my active lifestyle, fit as ever, all thanks to my surgery!
