Mr Adamthwaite recently performed pinnaplasty on my 12 year old son at the Nuffield in Chester. Prior to the procedure he was extremely self conscious about his ears and this was having a marked effect on his self confidence. During the initial consultation with Mr Adamthwaite, we were immediately put at ease by his professionalism, kindness and reassurance. He listened to our concerns and anxieties regarding the procedure and provided us with a very clear explanation of the corrective procedure, including intended outcomes, post op care and any associated risks. He spoke with Will in an age appropriate manner, ensuring that he had a thorough understanding of the process. On the day of the surgery, Mr Adamthwaite met with us prior to the procedure and put us totally at ease. He answered any queries we had and went through the process once again. Both myself and Will felt very reassured that he was in excellent hands and he went off to theatre with very little anxiety. Following the procedure, Mr Adamthwaite came to see us to inform us that he was delighted with how the procedure had gone and advised us regarding post operative care. He provided me with his mobile number and requested that I contact him directly, should we have any further questions or concerns. I did have a query a couple of weeks post op and I received an imminent response. We are now nearly 4 months on , and we are delighted with Will's new look. He is so much more confident in himself, which is a real pleasure to see. I couldn't recommend Mr Adamthwaite enough!
