Quite upset after my appointment- this consultant was short and seemed annoyed with me that he did not have all the information he required. Basically my consultant just wanted him to check my throat for anything sinister not hard to guess - he was a bit patronising but did check my throat then made me feel very small as it was fine ( big relief for me) - patronising - and forgetting we have a small time to interact with him - I know he see lots of people each day but treat each person respectfully. The trainee with you also needed to see that eliminating any concerns by checking is a huge relief for a patient even if some what irritating for the consultant.
