I started my Bariatric surgery just over a year ago under Mr Loy and I have to say that he is the most professional, caring and funny consultant I have ever met, what I like about him is his passion for bariatric surgery and the joy he seems to get by seeing his patients wellbeing and life change for the better, he explains every part of the journey that us patients will go through in a way that us non medical people can understand.
The day of surgery I was nervous but following a funny chat with him before I went to theatre put me totally at ease and surgery went really well, and today I had my first consultation with him and the wonderful bariatric team since my surgery in April and the look on his and the other members of the teams faces said it all
