From the moment I met Mr Loy I immediately felt at ease. He makes you feel relaxed, is completely open and honest knows his stuff. I even emailed him prior to my surgery with questions in which he replied straightaway with the reassurance that made my approaching surgery would go smoothly and according to plan. He advised me in preparation and answered every question and concern i had. He Listened! My surgery was 14th October 2015 and was for a Gastric bypass and also an umbilical hernia repair. He came a met me prior to surgery as i was very nervous as you would expect and we laughed and joked and by the time he left I felt great with nothing to worry about. My surgery went exactly as he said it would and he came to see me straight after surgery and again when I went on to the ward. I was in for 2 days and i saw him each day, again I had questions and each time he stopped and advised and reassured me. He was there for as long as I needed. A truly truly nice guy, an absolute genius in the work which he carries out and for anyone else having this surgery, if you get told Mr Loy is your surgeon then count yourself very lucky. There is no-one better! I am now 5 days post op and feeling great! I owe this man everything and am eternally grateful for the second chance he has given me. His medical team are also amazing as are the rest of the nurses and staff at Shrewsbury hospital. Nothing I write in this review will do justice to this man and his team. Thank you!
