I had a disc prolapse in September which left me suddenly unable to stand for longer than a few minutes at a time. I have never been in such pain or frightened.
From the first moment I was in contact with Mr Crawford ( firstly by phone due to Covid restrictions) I knew I would be ok and could hand over my fear and pain to him.
The appointment prior to the surgery was incredible. Even though a nurse myself he still went through everything in such detail that I understood what was wrong and what would happen, he treated me as a patient which I was and needed. Mr Crawfords gentle , caring and knowledgeable approach was exceptional which meant when I went into theatre for the surgery I had no worries or concerns. The surgery was a huge success and I cried in recovery because I had no pain for the first time in weeks. I have a small scar and was back at work pain free 3 weeks later. I can not thank Mr Crawford enough or recommend him enough because he has such knowledge, skill and understanding and I will forever grateful to him.
