I must admit I was a little unsure of Mr Parmar at first purely because I had felt uncomfortable about him questioning whether it was my choice not to have children. However, I decided to ask Mr Parmar the relevance of this questioning when I went in to see him again following my ultrasound scan and I was glad that I did. He immediately apologised that I had been made to feel uncomfortable and said how glad he was that I had spoken to him about how I felt. He then explained very well the relevance of this questioning and I did then understand that the questions were relevant to why I was there and I was no longer angry/upset. I was perhaps overly sensitive to this question and perhaps it would have helped if the reason for this questioning had been explained at the time but I left feeling that I had been listened to and happy with the explanation.
