Mr Warner has done several procedures on my hands. Trigger-finger releases and the more complicated surgery to correct Dupuytren's Contracture, which is when a finger gradually bends backwards towards the palm. He successfully corrected one such contracture nine years ago, but warned me that it was likely to return. It did, nine years later! He explained that, as it was a repeat operation, it might not be possible to achieve a full straightening of the finger. I accepted this and would have been very happy for it to be almost straight. However, after a lengthy operation under a general anaesthetic he informed me that he'd been able to straighten it completely, and a couple of days ago the physiotherapist signed me off after he decided that it was a complete success. I've been delighted with every aspect of my treatment, over many years, from Mr Warner, and also from the efficiency and friendly courteousness of Jayne his P.A. They make a great team!
