I first met Mr. Kirkby-Bott after being referred by my GP. After an examination he explained the best way forward was surgery. I asked if it was possible to have the operation privately as the pain was interfering with daily life.
He told me about his private clinic, Hampshire Hernia Clinic and how he operated using a local anaesthetic and sedation, avoiding a general anaesthetic.
Although I was a little concerned he reassured me that I would be fine. I could more or less choose when to have the operation. Due to personal circumstances I decided to wait just three weeks.
The whole procedure was painless, I left the hospital just over two hours after the surgery. I would highly recommend Mr. Kirkby-Bott, easy to talk too, very reassuring, and top rate surgeon using a very good private hospital.
