An amazing surgeon, one who really cares, listens to everything and considers the best course of action in a calm, calculated and measured way. I cannot recommend this surgeon and his amazing hernia clinic enough!

I selected Mr Kirkby-Bott from a list of surgeons in Southampton, his knowledge and experience on Hyperparathyroidism is amazing, i have had this for over two years being seen privately elsewhere After contacting him, i had consultation, scan, blood tests, consultation with appointment for surgery the following week, all this over a three week period Could not have hoped for a more caring, efficient, surgeon, home the same day Thank you

Great all round experience from consultation to surgery to aftercare. Good efficient surgery with a shout out to the fantastic anaesthetist who really listened and did as I asked. Hardly any pain, (oparacetomol for one day) no bruising and walking around immediately, with very fast recovery. In fact I had to be careful not to overdo things as it all felt so good.
