Mr Kirby-Bott removed my gallbladder two weeks ago. I decided to go privately to skip the long waiting list on the nhs. I had already had a biodegradable drain inserted in my blocked bile duct and knew it would only last 12 weeks.
Mr Kirkby-Bott and his team were amazing, they listened to my concerns and explained every step of the way from consultation to surgery. I had keyhole surgery and was a day case which meant I was home within 8 hours. Great care was taken by all staff to ensure everything went smoothly.
