I was very much aware that Mr James Hewes and his team were taking very good care of me, even though I presented them with a difficult case, and had to stay in hospital longer than expected.
I was told to expect a follow up appointment letter several weeks after my discharge from hospital. When this did not materialize I decided to contact Mr Hewes secretary who had no knowledge I was waiting for my appointment.
At my follow up appointment I found Mr Hewes listened well, he was easy to talk to, informative and reassuring.
I have recovered well after my surgery and feel I have my life back thanks to Mr James Hewes and his dedicated team at Southmead, and Frenchay Hospital. Many many thanks to you all.
