Mr Heaney personally introduced himself to me in the waiting room at the initial and subsequent consultation appointments. His approach was very personal and caring and totally made me feel at ease. During consultations he fully explained what he thought the issues were and what options were available, enabling me to make a decision as to the next step. On the day of surgery he fully explained the process, what to expect and personally accompanied me to and from the operating room. The post operative results are excellent. In my opinion James Heaney is not only an excellent surgeon, but a caring consultant who treats his patients with dignity and consideration.
