From my initial consultation (explaining my 10yrs of back pain, sciatica, numb/cold feet and significantly reducing mobility ) through to post operation, Mr Bourne gave my wife and I great confidence in the decision to have major back surgery(4hours) explaining the MRI results, the procedure, risks and probable positive outcome. He had great interactive listening and humour skills whist maintaining an effective professional stance. We have been putting this decision off for many years as the symptoms got worse. Mr Bournes explanations and confidence made my decision so easy. Mr Bourne chatted to me immediately before my operation and the morning after(so valuable to me to know the outcome). He informed me, in his friendly manner, that ‘excellent decompression was achieved’ and discharged me 18hours after returning from the operation. I could immediately stand upright(first time in 6 years), feel my feet warm and without numbness, no sciatica and was able to walk out of Euxton Hall(excellent hospital). Mr Bourne(Jim), sincere thanks for giving me a future well-being uplift and providing my wife and I with such a positive active life expectancy.
