After 2 and a half years of excruciating pain I finally had decompression and spinal fusion surgery on the 20th Nov 2021. The operation was prepared and carried out by Mr Bourne. I was, as many are, very apprehensive about having this procedure but felt I had no choice but to at leat try. The staff at Euxton hospital were fantastic and Mr Bourne made me feel I was in good hands.
The result? I have been given my life back. The post operation pain was uncomfortable for some weeks, but that was a small price to pay for how well this procedure has gone for me. I actually feel better than I have in years (completely pain free!) and cannot thank Mr Bournes and his wonderful team enough (the after op follow up has also been first class). Thank you thank you thank you!
