Mr Bourne was not only an amazing surgeon, judging by my operation, which I could not rate highly enough, but a marvellous personality which is a rare commodity in the medical world.
Never at any time was he condescending, I felt completely at ease with both his medical ability and his positive, friendly personality.
I am at 7 weeks post op as I write this and hardly remember I've had an operation, but I will always remember and give great thanks to Mr James Bourne. Sharon.
