I was referred to My Polyzois by my private medical policy for a shoulder injury with no previous experience or knowledge of him. From the outset he was engaged, focused and clearly interested in finding the correct solution for me and my speedy and robust recovery. Within days I was in for an MRI and back to see him for his review of the results and opinion of action plan. Early findings suggested possible surgery which involves 6 weeks in a sling and a total of 3 months not driving and back to full health. My Polyzois wanted additional data/information before he settled on this course of action, so sent me for a CT scan, which again was through very quickly. When we got back together to discuss very soon after, his preference was to avoid unnecessary surgery and see what we could manage in the first instance with physiotherapy through a practice he had great confidence in to address. Since then I have attended three sessions, am making great progress (provided I do my bit with exercises, etc) and on the road to recovery. In fairness, had I undergone surgery I would have had to pursue a course of physiotherapy anyway - so this is definitely a better way to have gone - and certainly at less financial return to My Polyzois. I am very happy to have been seen by Mr Polyzois and feel confident and assured by his diagnosis and recommendations and style of working (accompanied me there and then at each appointment to book the follow on with the booking/admin team). As such, I would happily recommend him to anyone requiring his knowledge, expertise and experience.
