Breast reduction. Discharged at 6 week review with infection and fat necrosis diagnosed when I asked for a new consultant to take over my care. I knew and understood complications before surgery. His attitude from start to finish was shocking. Completely dismissive. I also have a very small square left breast. Avoid like the plague. I should have went with my gut instinct. The only reason I went ahead with him was because a friend knew a theatre nurse who said he was a good surgeon. Not in breast surgery as far as I am concerned. In a few months my new consultant will assess me again and repair the mess. Surgery was at Glasgow royal and I must add the wound nurses at the plastic surgery unit were first class and did not dismiss me even when they asked Mr taggart refused to come see me as they were not happy to send me home 15 minutes after he discharged me. Horrible man
