having suffered a brain bleed and as the result i was left with both hands with fingers curling inwards towards my palms, after Mr grant saw them he referred me to have the fingers cut internally to stretch them straighter unfortunately this op didn't work after several months went by and the fingers started curling again.after enquiries about having pins put in to lock them into a straight position Mr grant advised against as the ligaments were going to be too strong and would eventually force the pins to snap.the only option was to be the amputation of my left little finger and this went ahead, proving to be the best thing for me as i no longer get caught in car doors or small spaces.all i can say is a big thank you to Mr grant for getting me the freedom to carry on with my life.
