Mr Soleymani is the most caring and genuinely respectful consultant that I have met. At my first appointment, he explained that surgery was required and patiently answered all of my questions. He was honest regarding the timescale for recovery and the level of support I would require after surgery. He was reassuring about the operation, which occurred within two weeks of my appointment. Whilst in hospital post-surgery, I was checked on daily and closely monitored by Mr Soleymani and his team. The staff at the Manor were in regular contact with Mr Soleymani, and he often requested tests or checks to be made when he was not in attendance. The staff at the Manor were professional and supportive often telling jokes or sharing advice and asking how I felt. I was encouraged to mobilise after surgery and was greeted around the department by all staff from the ancillary staff to the medical staff as I walked daily. Every member of staff played their part from the medical and nursing staff, to the catering staff, who after a period of nil by mouth, organised a special diet to get me back onto solid food again. After discharge, I was well looked after by Molly in Outpatients, who kept a careful eye on me with weekly visits and was also in regular contact with Mr Soleymani. At discharge, I was given clear instructions by Mr Soleymani as to how I needed to progress to ensure I could safely get back to my previous activity level. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Soleymani to anyone requiring gynaecological surgery.
