Mr Budd carried out a bilateral segmental decompression on my L3/4 and L4/5 on the 16th September. At all stages leading up to and post surgery Mr Budd kept me advised of the what the procedure involved, answered questions, and made me feel at ease Prior to surgery I had been using increasing amounts of pain relief for over two years. My walking was limited too about 25 yards, with the aid of a stick and my lower limbs were either numb or suffering with constant pins and needles. My sleep was constantly interrupted due to pain. Following the surgery I was up and walking the same day. After two days I felt an improvement in my mobility. After 9 days I had stopped the pain medication and and was able to walk 100 yards or more and have continued to improve in all aspects of mobility since. The care and outcome I received from Mr Budd and his team was first class.
