On 30/11/2021 Mr Budd performed a miracle. After 20 years of slowly increasing lower back pain - the cause of which seemed to defeat professionals - and considerable time and money spent on physio., osteopathy, gym work and acupuncture, last August I was stricken with unbelievable nerve pain leaving me barely able to walk, drive or sit. My GP was prescribing ever increasing pain killers, including considerable morphine, and I was housebound, reliant on kind friends to shop and often cook, as I live alone. Thankfully, I was referred to Mr Budd, and the miracle was a procedure called disectomy, decompression and fusion. I now have considerable metal-work in my lumbar region, was pain free the morning after, and can already walk several miles with no discomfort. Mr Budd patiently answered my questions and explained the procedure with various imaging before and afterwards, I am in total awe of his expertise - and obviously the skills of his team - and I will never be able to thank him enough for restoring the active life that I feared was lost for ever. Perhaps I should mention that although I am 71, I now feel confident that I have many active years ahead, thanks to the skills of Mr Henry Budd.
