Mr Budd spoke to me before the operation and explained exactly what he was going to do during my operation. He gave me the opportunity to ask any questions or to discuss any concerns that I had.
A filter was placed in an artery a day or two before the operation to prevent any blood clot damage. The operation was a complete success and has enabled me to walk again. The dressing and stitches on my neck were Removed in a matter of days.
The scar is now almost invisible. I no longer live in fear of being paralysed.
I will be eternally grateful to Mr Budd for his kindness and professionalism during my stay in hospital and the follow up visits since the operation
