Mr Budd is very attentive and down to earth. He put me at ease and explained everything (good and bad!) clearly. He visited me soon after surgery to see how I was recovering which I really appreciated.
I have been suffering for some time with back pain that gave me terrible sciatic nerve pain. The NHS list was such a long wait so I decided to go private. Mr Budd was also my NHS consultant so it felt only natural to request him for this surgery.
I would highly recommend exploring this option if you suffer with similar symptoms. I had a lumber interbody fusion with facetectomy and decompression. It is 8 weeks since the operation and I am starting to feel the benefits - it’s a long recovery but I am hopeful to get back to enjoying some daily activities and back to enjoying life again without the debilitating pain.
