Amazing surgeon with great bedside manner.I first visited him in July where he told me and my husband that a polyp that they removed was cancerous.I was booked in surgery 3 weeks later and he explained the process in detail and listened to any worry’s and concerns.I was scared on the op day and he kept me calm and reassured me.Had a small issue where they couldn’t find a tattoo during the op where polyp was removed but wasn’t his fault or the teams and they did the best they could and removed the cancerous part of the bowel.
Recovery has been fine and touchwood had no complications and actually been able to get away as didn’t think i would of been able to.I am now 7 weeks post op and seeing Mr Ferguson again in October for a colonoscopy.If i had to have another operation down the line i wouldn’t want anyone else and only Mr Ferguson as his been fantastic throughout the whole process.
