I was referred for a colonoscopy by my GP in order to eliminate potential conditions. A week after that procedure I was informed by Mr Ferguson that I had potentially Stage 4 Cancer. They way he handled imparting this devastating news to my wife and I was gentle, supportive and, if such a thing could be, with some positivity.
He explained in detail what the procedure(s) would involve, repeatedly stopped to ensure that both my wife and I were clear about what would happen and understood everything he was saying.
