I had a total right knee replacement on 22nd January. Had excellent care and treatment in the hospital. Mr Atkinson regularly visited and talked me through my recovery. I saw him after 2 weeks when my clips were removed and he remarked how well I was doing. I then saw him for my 6 week check and he discharged me. He is extremely caring and so friendly and reassuring. I am so pleased, pain free and back driving, and have returned to my activities which I was unable to do prior to the operation.
It may well be that, in the future, I will have to have my other knee replaced. If so, I would want Mr Atkinson to carry out that operation also.
