This consultant has performed three procedures on my ankle: lateral ligament rebuild, calcanean osteotomy and an ankle fusion. None of these procedures has either alleviated my pain or enabled me to walk. I can now only walk with the aid of crutches, and will soon be wheelchair bound, as I have been referred onwards for revisionary surgery following the failed arthrodesis
