I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 2nd November 2015. Mr Thomas was my consultant at the time and he explained in detail everything I was about to go through in great detail. His kind reassuring manner put me totally at rest and I was happy to go through the next phase in my life knowing he was my surgeon. I had complete confidence in him performing the surgery I was about to have.
Although I was strong when I was told of my diagnosis, unfortunately my husband went to pieces. Mr Thomas very kindly reassured him of what the next chapter would entail. This as far as I am concerned is above and beyond his duty, for that I will be eternally grateful.
Mr Thomas is an asset to the NHS and I am very grateful for the opportunity to meet such a kind, caring man.
