Dr McGowan is totally superb.
I suddenly developed a Macular Hole and I saw Dr McGowan at the Ross Hall Clinic Out Patients. Several tests were completed immediately, and he examined me. I was admitted 4 days later, operated on and discharged all within 8 days of first contact with the clinic.
He was very helpful, professional, explained the pathology and the treatment procedure, and was extremely kind and thoughtful.
I was seen again at Out Patients post operatively within a couple of weeks, and again at 11 weeks. I have fully recovered my sight.
I cannot thank him and the team enough for the expert help and support from start to finish.
The anaesthetist and the theatre team were also excellent.
